WHAT IS THE WORKFORCE READY GRANT?

The Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant is a grant program that covers the tuition and fees of qualifying certificate training programs across Indiana. With EECI the following is covered:

• Enrollment into Apprenticeship Related Training Instruction (Credential Prep Course)

• Dual Enrollment Into Courses leading to National Recognized Childcare Industry Credential

• One attempt to assessment for National Child Development Association (CDA) Credential Exam, application and observation fee included in tuition

• Local and/or Virtual Support, group classes to meet the 120 Clock hour criteria

• Job Placement and/or employee retention leading to higher wage in industry

• Bridge academic gaps to support you in enrollment into an AA or BA program in Early Childhood Education

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To get started, qualified applicants must fill out an inquiry form and the below form to help us determine the following:

• Where you live in Indiana

• The Workforce office nearest to you (for documentation purposes only)

• Education level

• When you can start training

• How you prefer to attend class (ex: day, night, online, parttime, fulltime)

 

How Do I Get Started: (All steps must be completed)

1. Fill out the Indiana Inquiry form to indicate you want to enroll with Early Education Career Institute​

2. After submitting inquiry form, please fill the bottom form to let us know you are interested! 

3. Complete the Application Form for EECI and you are all set!

4. The final step is to wait for an enrollment letter to be issued, once received please join the orientation and submit any additional paperwork discussed.

All applicants must complete these steps to become a Registered Apprentice:

• Apply to become an ECE US DOL Registered Apprentice with EECI

• Participate in the apprenticeship interview.

• Have Appendix D Completed by your employee sponsor program
