CDA JumpStart Support Program - One Week Intensive
One week intensive hybrid for early care and learning practitioners to support Child Development Associate Credential. This course is with a TIPS Certified Instructor in your local community or on-site at your agency locations. The course modules are fast paced with intentional circuit based learning in a flipped adult classroom environment to ensure mastery of information delivered. Small group interaction allows the group to master the expectations of the information, implement course objectives and practices with instructor on site. The goal of this program is to prepare participants for CDA Credential meeting the 120 subject area criteria. Participants leave Hybrid with 90-100% of material needed for their portfolio and prepared for assessors review and/or exam. One week course is followed by one week of support with instructor on-site to provide field exercise coaching and writing support after hours.
Course is followed by 20 hours of writing and field exercise and 3 revision sessions and an agenda to support firm deadlines and guided instruction. Each participant receives an instructional mentor to support day one implementation of information delivered. Hybrids can be scheduled by agency or local administrators.
Program great to support au pair, nursery, pre-primary, home visitors, family child care teachers, needing to earn credential as an urgent need or in a group course environment.
A great micro-credential opportunity that is cost efficient when scheduling needs to be at a minimal and agency grant timelines are specific.
Available for Home Visitor, Pre-School, I/T program can be used as a CDA equivalent please call for additional information. (CDA Application Not Included)
