About the event

TIPS for Child Care Institute, Inc. provides an integrated course schedule of early childhood theory,  through exploration, personal discovery, and self-reflection. In every class, our instructors emphasize the strategies and processes involved in understanding the course content and creates a unique opportunity to prepare our learners to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.

In this course parents will explore different parenting styles along with the cause and effects of each. This will help parents be conscious of the type of style they use in teaching children. There are 4 different styles we will explore (1. Authoritarian, 2. Authoritative, 3. Permissive and 4. Uninvolved/Neglectful)

Participants will leave course able to define different parent styles and implement the best style within their own family.
