About the event
TIPS for Child Care Institute, Inc. provides an integrated course schedule of early childhood theory, through exploration, personal discovery, and self-reflection. In every class, our instructors emphasize the strategies and processes involved in understanding the course content and creates a unique opportunity to prepare our learners to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.
In this course parents will learn how to be aware of issues that may cause family crisis. An example of crisis prevention is making sure that house is childproofed to prevent accidents. We can also utilize this method when engaging with teens, noticing cues and clues that may lead to future issues. Noticing signs of depression is an early detection of noticing that somedthing is wrong.
Participants will leave course with the ability to notice cues and clues when interacting with teens. Parents will also learn tips that can be implemented when preparing for a child to enter the home.
