EARLY EDUCATION CAREER INSTITUTE AT A GLANCE

The Early Education Career Institute is committed to the vocational process of early care and education practitioners. We know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our international career readiness initiatives. In  2019 our organization, TIPS for Child Care Institute realized that by partnering with practitioners like you, together we could overcome career challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch the Early Education Career Institute, formerly TIPS for Child Care Institute.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

Exceptional Achievement

Are you interested in a non-profit career? This summer The Early Education Career Institute has provided two paid 13 week internship opportunities to local college students.

VOICEIT.

Efforts To Eradicate Racism In ECE

VoiceIt. is our weekly series designed to foster the success of building healthy race relations among the community of early care practitioners, the families they serve and provide strategies to identified pedagogical challenges.

TRANSITION TRAINING

Bring Them Back Safely

We offer a series of training to support individuals working with children and groups responsible for the care of children. It is important to us that accurate information is disseminated to the early care communities.

ACTIVITIES

At the Early Education Career Institute we are achieving more with our initiatives for you as early care practitioners than ever before. We work on many exciting projects helping to improve your day to day career experience. We value the impact you have in the economical flow of nations, as you provide childcare while fostering the development and well-being of children. We acknowledge the important role you play as essential service providers to communities across the globe. As an institute we are very proud of the progress we continue to make in impacting practitioners lives through our career services, community partnerships and resources.  Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work every day to promote positive change in the lives of early education practitioners.

CAREER READINESS

Early Education Credential Program

At the Early Education Career Institute, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issues of competence and qualification. Career Readiness is by no means an easy feat, but through access and affordability we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We provide on going credential and career competence courses. You may join in our local courses on our campus or through the use of our remote courses across the globe. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

FITNESS AND NUTRITION EDUCATION

Wage The Difference

In 2016 it was reported "half of America's childcare workers need food stamps, welfare payments or Medicaid", with very little changing today. As an effort to support recruitment and retention in ECE we recognize food insecurity and wellness can be barriers to you maintaining sustainable employment.  With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge.  Contact us to learn more about our Farm to ECE and KeyFit Programs as a commitment to this cause.

PLAYTHINGS

Play To Learn Foster Parent Initiative

The PlayThings project provides on-site make and take projects and mailed monthly activity boxes to Foster Parents. The goal is to promote great opportunities for you as a practitioner to access quality play to learn materials. You may use these to implement practices with the children you serve. The Early Education Career Institute recognizes with access to the right resources, as a community of practitioners you become empowered by your abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill your potential as educational coaches to children you serve.

"When you begin to do things that raise the achievement of  the poorest and disenfranchised students, you may not always get applause. You need to be ready for that."
